LIBS Connect!

The LIBS Connect event was set up by the Lincoln International Business School and has been running since June 2017. The first event saw over 60 business professionals attend to discuss Transformational Leadership, and was so successful the team decided to host an autumn event as well. The event that look place most recently was on 12/10/17, which focused on High Performing Teams within different companies. There were two Cygnet members who attended to help with the event and by working together we ensured the event was a great success.

Working with the business school and the events team, we interviewed lots of the interesting guest speakers such as Rick Graves, VP Global Operations at BP, and Neil Everatt, Chief Executive Officer at Selenity. We were also asked to run social media for the LIBS team as they themselves were not very familiar with Twitter and other forms of social media. We put out photos of the event on these platforms which gained a lot of attention and responses from those attending and those who now hope to attend in future. The LIBS team were very grateful for the added social media support of Cygnet as this is something they had wanted to improve on.

The event was a huge success with over 50 guests turning up to learn from other professionals about their own experiences within companies surrounding successful team work.

Being my first project for Cygnet PR I was slightly nervous however the team pulled together and made it a successful event. The client was happy with the work we did for the event and will continue to use Cygnet PR at future LIBS Connect events.
